Who am I?
Hello! My name is Holden. I am a fourth year computer science student at McGill University. My interests include software design and development, web design, database systems, and data privacy. I have currently completed internships in web development, mobile app development, finance, and am always looking for further opportunities to learn and collaborate in interesting environments. Why do I enjoy computer science?
I have always been a big thinker, looking to find answers to the great questions of our universe and existence. I quickly learned that the most realistic way to do this is through computer science! It is the most rewarding feeling in the world to learn something, create a product from it, and then get to see others utilize that product in real life. I can't wait to learn as much as I can in this field and continue expanding my skillset in a work environment.
What is this website?
This website is a portfolio to show who I am, my experience, and what I am interested in. The website was created with React.js, and utilizes professional design concepts and techniques I have learned in my years of full-stack web development experience. - Completed React.js client dashboard allowing users to view real time data from Kaidu Sensors
- Completed React Native Mobile application that enables users to connect to and configure Kaidu Blutooth low-energy devices to Wi-Fi
- Practices skills with Typescript, Azure Services, APIs, and integrated CI/CD
- Implemented a complete data analytics feature for the company’s fund reporting application including an AWS alarm system.
- Worked with React JS framework and developed a REST API to capture and store server-side analytic data created by application users
- Developed the features under direction of company CTO who reviewed all code in Gitlab source control
- Assisted with market research/source and conduct interviews with high-profile experts
- Completed a preliminary risk analysis of a leading healthcare provider in the United States for a principal at Altas
